Second round of grants to make the capital region healthier Print

The Our Wellness Foundation is seeking applications for grants of up to $20,000 for services and research projects that promote the health and wellbeing of the people of the Australian Capital Territory and surrounding region.

The foundation, which was officially launched in July of 2009, identifies community needs and raises and provides funds for services and research that improve the Capital Region’s wellness.

Successful applicants of Small Funding Grants Print

A number of local community service organisations and research projects are up to $20,000 richer as part of the Our Wellness Foundation grant applications.

“The foundation’s first round of grant applications received a strong response, and underscored the dedication and commitment of many individuals and organisations to making the Capital Region a healthy and well place,” said Chair, John de la Torre. 

“The grant recipients service a broad range of community needs through equipment and facilities and play a vital role in Canberra’s wellness. The foundation will distribute over $58,000 to aid in the continuation of these vital community projects.”

Health donations fast-track Print
